Early start and over to the Wirral, started on a new medium sized canvas with the sun low and bleaching out all the colours, needs more work so if its not pouring with rain tomorrow I’ll work on it some more.
Started also a separate portrait format version of the Liver building working quickly with rain moving across, certainly feels the quicker I work and the more painting I can do outside works best for me, and this one I like a lot. (see below).
Also worked more on the ‘Belfast Ferry’ painting which I’ll continue more with tomorrow.
Towards the end of todays painting two fisherman from Wigan turned up just in time for the rain, they were not put off, and are probably still there fishing for flat fish…!
